F.L.O.W. - FAMILY LIFE ON WEDNESDAYS @ 6:30 PM     *LAst one for 2017

Everyone is invited to our Family Life On Wednesdays (F.L.O.W.) at 6:30 p.m. This includes our Awana children's program, our youth Counter Culture and an adult Community Group (a study by Louie Giglio entitled "Goliath Must Fall"). We hope you will make plans to attend our last one for 2017. Everyone is off next Wednesday, Nov. 22 except for the Community Group that will continue and end on Nov. 29. Our youth will continue meeting on Wednesday nights through the middle of December.

please HELP US get the heat BACK ON in our offices/daycare

As many of you have heard either through Facebook, an email or during a recent service, we need your help right now. The HVAC in our Offices/Daycare building is not able to be repaired any more. It has run its course over the last 16 years. So we are installing a new unit. After having 4 companies come and give their professional advice, we have all determined that the most cost effective move is to actually replace the bigger unit with different units so that the upstairs and downstairs can be run separately. This will definitely save us money in the future because both floors and rooms require different needs concerning temperature. So to do this change, it will cost approximately $20,000. We are asking everyone to prayerfully consider helping us meet this need. The work has begun so half is due now and the other half in 2 weeks. So far, we've been given almost $7,500.  If you can give towards this need, please do so using this secured link and give to the HVAC fund. We truly appreciate your generosity!

We are having our annual Thanksgiving Feast THIS SUNDAY NIGHT, Nov. 19th at 6:00 p.m. We are asking everyone to register and sign up for food here ASAP. We also still need a few volunteers and you can sign up for that also.

If your last name begins with A-L, bring a vegetable dish and rolls/bread. If your last name begins with M-Z, please bring a dessert and a drink.

This year, we will also not only be eating but asking you to bring your favorite board or card games so that we can play them afterwards at some of the tables.

Youth - you will be helping to set-up and then going to Skates 280 in the afternoon (bring $10) and then coming back for the fellowship, food and games that night.

For all those who would like to publicly share their faith in Jesus Christ by being baptized in water, we will be doing that on Sunday, Nov. 26th at the end of the service. If you would like to participate in this, please email us here.

Instead of a Christmas production this year, we're going to have a BIG Christmas party for our church family and guests. It will be loads of FUN! Some of the festivities might include: Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest, Christmas Carol Karaoke, Group Games, Dancing to Christmas Music, Christmas Cookie Decorating, Snowman Marshmallow Building, Photo Booth, Ornament Exchange, etc. We will be having a potluck with appetizers and Christmas goodies. Be watching for details.

Baby announcement

We rejoice with Matt and Jill Campisi on the birth of their son Marco Trace on November 3rd. He weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. and was 21 3/4 inches long. They are first time parents and enjoying life greatly (even though sleeping is fun to figure out). Now that Matt is back at work, it would be a blessing to receive a few meals if possible (especially mid-week). For those who would like to do so over the next couple of weeks, here is the link. Last name is Campisi and Password is vineyard.

NOON PRAYER - Monday thru Thursday*

We are still having times of refreshing in the Lord's presence most weekdays at noon in the downstairs of the Student Center. At this point, we are not meeting on Fridays. Some of our Pastoral Staff and Elders facilitate this hour of prayer that has been going now for over 5 years. We usually begin each time with worship and setting our heart and mind on the Lord. Please come if you need something from the Lord or just want to pray with others concerning whatever is on the Lord's heart each day.
